How long until I show up?

Usually about a week — the long pole is Google’s own verification (a postcard or a short video). Once that clears, the profile goes live the same day.

Do I need a website for this?

No. Maps setup stands on its own — it’s often the first thing we do for a guide who isn’t online yet. If you later buy a site, this is included, not charged again.

How is this different from Maps Keep?

This is the one-time setup. Maps Keep is the weekly posting that keeps the profile fresh and climbing afterward — optional, and already folded into SEO if you run that.
